The Art of Teaching

"To teach you have to excite"

This sentence by Maria Montessori contains the whole meaning of my teaching. 

I am an Art teacher in a secondary school. For years I have been spending part of my life in a school, in contact with young people who I consider a hope, a promise for our future.

My approach to art education is pragmatic, I like that kids create, give shape to their ideas, get involved within a culture of respect which I believe is the foundation of every experience, not just educational.

This passionate adventure led me to go beyond pure teaching and to create new bridges, open the doors of the classroom to the world with a strong project approach. We organized and experienced many educational events, cultural exchanges, interdisciplinary collaborations, educational trips both in Italy and abroad, which gave me countless satisfactions and emotions, in a process of mutual enrichment between me and my students.
